Genshin Impact is no stranger to making new characters, especially when it comes to adding to the Liyue roster. Yelan is a newly discovered character who will be arriving in the game shortly. There is a surprising amount of information that has come out about Yelan.
Yelan has a strikingly different design than other characters that come from Liyue. The picture of Yelan shown above was made by Reddit userTsuki-04. It’s not yet known how she fits into the game’s story, but we do know that she is going to be afive-star.

Yelan is set to be aHydro bow-user, and there is a chance that players may meet her in 2.6. As of right now, Yelan isn’t set to appear in the game untilversion 2.7. This seems to indicate that she may be involved withThe Chasm, which would also explain her unique dress attire.
It was previously thought thatDendrocharacters would be introduced with The Chasm, so Yelan’s appearance is a bit of a shock to players. Please keep in mind that HoYoverse is yet to officially announce Yelan, and the design above is rendered by a third party.
