Dying Light 2 uses various weapon mods to change playstyle dramatically. Each mod can be one of three different types and slotted into one of three different parts of a weapon. There are Crit mods, Power mods, and Blast mods that can be fit into either the Tip, Shaft, or Grip socket of a weapon. These mods will be scattered all over the place, but you will acquire most of them from Craftmasters in various settlements.
First Weapon Mods
You can acquire the first weapons mods available from the Craftmaster at the Bazaar. After the Prologue, you can access this once theMarkers of PlagueStory Quest is completed. Players can purchase the mods by talking to the Craftmaster and upgrading them in the Upgrade Menu. These first mods are:
