Dolls are creepy enough on their own before one is made based on the player and hidden somewhere. Players of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will need to find their own effigy made by Shiragiku hidden in a house full of dolls. Here’s how players can maneuver this area and find the doll quickly.

How to start looking for the Effigy
After Shiragiku’s cutscene, players will need to start following the breadcrumbs of clues. However, they can’t get too caught up in their scenery, as it can easily lead players into a dangerous area without warning.

Where to look for the Effigy
Out in the garden, players need to create a replica of the image they were shown in the Doll Shrine psychic photo. To do this, players will need to focus on the first tree to their left in the garden. Focus the Camera Obscura until a small focal point pops up. Lock onto the point and take the photo. After this, the effigy will fall into the bushes.
