To find Oxidizers in Dying Light 2, players will need to searchForsaken Storesin the game or purchase them frommerchants. Evacuation Convoys will also sometimes have Oxidizers as loot, but these take great effort to clear. Because of this, it’s better to go with the latter option.
If you want to try your hand at searching Forsaken Stores forOxidizers, you will need to start by exploring the city. While exploring the city in Dying Light 2, you can findForsaken Storesmarked with an icon shown below, but you should not loot them during the day.
The main reason is that you will find large numbers of sleeping Infected or, as the game calls them,Sleeping Biters. It will be far more challenging to move around and loot the store. Plus, you will be missing out onbonus XP.
We recommend looting Forsaken Stores at night when most of the Infected will wander out into the street. That said, wait for night to fall, and then find a nearby Forsaken Store via its icon on the map.
