Apples are often used for recipes, events, and even just fodder for the Parametric Transformer. The most common place to find them is in Monstadt. Early Genshin players can find these fairly easily outside the tutorial.
Monstadt Apple Locations
In Genshin Impact’s starting areaMondstadt, apple trees are abundant. Many trees that hold them don’t have many enemies around, making the gathering much easier. Each location is marked, but it is possible to encounter a small clump ofapplessurrounded by some wild animals. They are a vital consumable to collect and can makeNorthern Apple Stewonce players reach Reputation Level 1 in the city.

The Liyue area has much fewer apples but does havehollowed tree trunksthat may contain pinecones, sunsettias, or apples. The few trees around might still be worth collecting for players that really need them. Liyue is unlocked after completing theArchon Quest Prologue: Act I - The Outlander Who Caught the Windquest.
InLiyue Harbor, apples can be bought by interacting withBolai. He is located just under the wharf and will sell up to 10 apples every three days for 240 Mora each.
