The Xbox 20th Anniversary Livestream ended with the surprise launch of theHalo Infinite Multiplayer. It’s labeled as the Beta version, meaning it isn’t the completed version of the game yet. The Beta is listed aspart of the Season 1 Battle Passfor Infinite—Heroes of Reach—but not all aspects of the first season are part of the Beta.
The Beta will also end sooner than the full first Season—the Beta will end on the official launch date for Halo Infinite, Dec. 8.Almost everything players earn in the Beta—progress, cosmetics, stats, and unlocks—will be carried over to the full game at release. The Beta should be available to all who have a Game Pass subscription on Xbox or PC or has Halo Infinite pre-ordered.

The full Heroes of Reach battle pass will continue until sometime in May 2022. That means players will have a full six months to get all the exclusive content they would want from the first season. The Campaign for Infinite will also be in the game at the Dec. 8 launch date.
