DOOM Eternal’s Horde Mode, BATTLEMODE 2.0, hasa scheduled release on May 11, 2025.This arcade-styled game mode lets players explore a brand-new arena while slaying demons and unlocking several streak-based rewards.BATTLEMODE 2.0 launches alongside Update 6.66, and this content will be free for all users.

If this free update isn’t enough to satiate your bloodlust, DOOM Eternal also has several paid expansions: The Ancient Gods - Part One and Part Two up for purchase. The Ancient Gods has been praised as a worthy follow-up to DOOM Eternals campaign content by both fans and critics, strapping an additional eight to ten hours of content onto the base package.
