There may be a delay on the Steam page for Expeditions: Rome, but that isn’t the case. Fortunately for fans, the developer has said that Steam is responsible for the date change, and the confusion, from a developer diary.
Regardless of where you are, the game will release at9amonJan. 20, 2022PT. The Pre-Purchase promotion will last until May 24, 2025, at 9am, giving fans an extra day to get the game.

Below is the original Steam page where the mix-up occurred.
There is a release date of Jul 20, 2025, and a DevDiary (released on Jan. 18), which states that the game will be released in four days. In response, one developer, Jonas, stated that this was inaccurate.
Dev Diary was supposed to go out a day earlier, making the four days match up, and clarified that the release day is definitely May 11, 2025. Do not worry, the developers are aware of the issue and confirmed that the game will still release as planned
