The most important thing to remember when choosing an origin is that it should match your playstyle and class. We highly recommend selecting an origin based on your class because, otherwise, the combat will be brutal.

Does the origin you pick matter in The Waylanders?
No, not really. Though there are some slight differences in dialogue, the player’s origin does not affect gameplay in ways that stick to the player. You start the game in the same place, and the quests follow the same pattern.
After battles, it’s normal to find yourself low on health, so don’t think you chose the wrong origin simply because it is difficult. If you can at least survive the battles, you’re doing well.
