The 2.5 Livestream Special revealed a lot of exciting information about what’s coming in the 2.5 Update, such as new enemies and Story Quests, giving players quite a bit to look forward to. New limited-time events will be arriving alongside Genshin Impact 2.5, as well, with one in particular introducing a unique gadget and map for you to explore—the Three Realms Gateway Offering event.
Three Realms Gateway Offering
According to miHoYo, Three Realms Gateway Offering will be anexploration-focused event. You’ll be able to explore anall-new area based on Enkanomiyaduring this event, similar to the Golden Apple Archipelago, in which you’ll find some interesting puzzles and fantastic treasures waiting. Adangerous corruptionis plaguing these unfamiliar lands, however, and it’s up to you to purge it.

Corruption
Smothering darkness is creeping across the depths, corrupting anything it touches. This hasafflicted many of the mechanismsfound here, such as Teleport Waypoints, sealing them and making travel around this area much more difficult. To unseal them, you’ll have to collect a couple of new materials calledTokoyo Legumes and Aphotium Ore.
Enemies found in the event area will be empowered by the darkness, slowly becoming stronger over time. Additionally, your characters can be afflicted with the Corrosion status effect while exploring, making this unfamiliar land a pretty hazardous place for you to be. Fortunately, you’ll be equipped with a brand-new gadget to help repelling the corruption—theBokuso Box.
Bokuso Box and mysterious statues
The Bokuso Box is a necessary tool forpurifying the darkness, weakening your enemies, and allowing you to solve puzzles. By offeringLight Realm Sigilsto the mysterious statues scattered around the land, you’ll raise the Bokuso Box’s level andaccess new abilitiesto aid with exploration. OfferingLight Realm Cores, on the other hand, will unlock buffs calledBokuso Arts, making this gadget extremely helpful to have.
The mysterious statues found here do more than upgrading the Bokuso Box, however—theCorrosion status effectcan be removedby visiting them, making the statues a good safe haven if you’re overwhelmed by corruption. To survive this event, you’ll have to learn to make good use of both the Bokuso Box and mysterious statues.
Event rewards
A wide range of fantastic rewards is available during this event, such as Primogems and thenew Four-Star Catalyst weapon,Oathsworn Eye. This unique weapon can only be obtained by taking part in Three Realms Gateway Offering, meaning you won’t want to miss out on this limited-time event. Three Realms Gateway Offering arrivesalongside the 2.5 Update onFeb. 16, so be sure to mark your calendar and collect this awesome loot!
