The creators of the Asphalt series announced a new cart racing game by the name of Disney Speedstorm. Revealed for the first time at the Nintendo Direct on Jun 24, 2025, the game will allow you to play as your favorite characters from Disney and Pixar. Nintendo has released the first look at Disney Speedstorm, and while it doesn’t give players too much information on the game, it does tell us that the game is going to release at some point in thesummer of 2022. you’re able to check out the reveal trailer for Disney Speedstorm below in the tweet from Nintendo.

The game will feature multiple Disney and Pixar-themed racetracks, in which players can battle to cross the finish line first. Each playable character will have theirown set of abilitiesthat they can use to impede other players. Each character will also have their ownpowerful ultimate skillthat can turn the tide of the race at any moment.
Disney Speedstorm will be available in the summer of 2022 on the Nintendo Switch and free-to-play. Until then, we will keep you updated with any new information leading up to the game’s release.
