Alpha Pokémon are one of the new features present in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. These are huge and aggressive creatures that aren’t afraid to target you in the wild. They are also incredibly powerful, so catching them is a must when playing.
The weakest alpha Pokémon in the game is none other thanMagikarp. This alpha only knows the moveSplash, making him unthreatening in both the overworld and in battle. He can’t harm you due to this in battle, so as soon as you getBasculegion, you can get alpha Magikarp.

Alpha Magikarp can be found around the location shown on the map below, directly below where theGyradosis flying around in theObsidian Fieldlands.
To easily capture Magikarp bring in anelectricorgrass-typePokémon to fight it. Don’t worry if you are several underleveled, hitting it with asupereffective attackwill still whittle its health down quickly. When its health is in the red, go ahead and throw a Poke Ball, you should catch it with little to no resistance.
