Scent DB is a feature that allows players to keep track of all the animals and humans they encounter in DogLife. Once a player gets a scent, it can be located inScent DB,and clicking on it will reveal all of the stats that animal or human NPC has in the game.
Another feature Scent DB has is that it allows players to track the scent of any animal that goes missing via Scent DB. However, this is only if you bought theTOP Dog premium feature packand have got the scent of the lost animal already.

How to get a scent in DogLife?
To get a scent in DogLife, players must click on an animal under the Hierarchy tab in the game. Players can find this tab by clicking the icon labeled with a pyramid icon on the bottom right of the screen.
Once a player has clicked the Hierarchy tab, they will need to click or tap on any of the animals listed under the tab. Clicking on any animal will reveal a host of options, but you will need to click thesniff optionto get a scent.
After clicking on thesniff option, that animal will appear under the Scent DB listings and can be found later on if they should go missing in Dog Life.
