Back 4 Blood is the most recent title from Turtle Rock Studios, creators of the Left 4 Dead franchise. To the delight of many Left 4 Dead fans, the team decided to make yet another cooperative zombie shooter in Back 4 Blood, but this new title comes with new enemy types, specifically, the Ridden.
TheRidden are Back 4 Blood’s version of zombies.These enemies often spawn in hordes, rushing players. TheRidden can also come in several different variations known as mutations with their specific abilities as well.One of the mutated Ridden, theSploders, are massive enemies that explode, launching corrosive acid around them when killed. Themutated Ridden are rarer and only appear sparingly in comparison.

Characters will yell out when the mutated Ridden spawn, alerting players to the imminent danger. Be careful when facing the Ridden, as they’ll often rush with mutated and regular enemies at once.
