Unlike the original Dynasty Warriors game, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires draws more from the original Romance of the Three Kingdoms' gameplay formula. The game’s developer, Omega Force, offers a Standard and Deluxe edition of Empires, as well as a pre-order bonus for pre-ordering on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo systems.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires Pre-Order bonus
If fans pre-order the game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or Nintendo Switch, they’ll receive an in-game Guard Gem. Gems are in-game items that increase a character’s stats and sometimes have hidden effects. The Steam version does not include the Guard Gem. The Standard Edition of the game is available for$59.99.
There is a limited-time bonus offered on each console after release. Each system has multiple items players can receive if they play on that system before May 16, 2025.
