Call of Duty brings some forms of exclusive content for PlayStation every year. With CoD: Vanguard, PlayStation 5 and 4 users get bonus rewards instead of an exclusive game mode altogether.

Although these exclusive bonuses are significant, they are smaller compared to previous CoD titles. For instance, Black Ops Cold War featured Zombies “Onslaught,” which was exclusive to PS consoles for a year. Furthermore, Modern Warfare 2019 also had one-year exclusivity for PlayStation with the “Spec Ops” mode.
There is a positive side to this for players across all platforms, as certain players will not be restricted from playing a game mode this time simply due to exclusivity agreements. PS5 and PS4 players can party up with PC and Xbox teammates for any game mode in Vanguard.
