Passive Explanation

The party’s maximum Energy capacity is based on each character’s Energy Cost. Essentially, you need toadd up the Energy Cost of your entire partyto figure out its maximum Energy capacity. Multiply it by the Elemental Burst Damage percentage increase (dependent on Refinement Rank) and compare the result against the maximum Damage increase cap to figure out how much you can get out of this passive.

So if you have four members with 90 Energy Cost each, your maximum Energy Capacity is 360. At Refinement Rank 1, Wavebreaker’s Fin should give you +43.2 percent Elemental Burst Damage, but since it caps at 40 percent, you will receive a40 percent increaseinstead.
