With the last major update occurring in Nov. 2021, players were pleasantly surprised whenWolfpaqannounced a new Racing Update coming in Jan. 2022. Official patch notes
New RP set
Hidden under the vague titleRP set, a new house added with the Racing Update has slipped under many Robloxians' noses. This new house, which is of course race car themed, can be found at the very bottom of the house selection list and features race car beds, unique wall art, and even a massive garage in the basement. On top of all that, it’s also free for everyone to use!
New apartment
Unlike other apartments in Brookhaven, the new Skate Shop apartment doubles as just that—a hipster skate shop and cozy apartment! Complete with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a full kitchen/living room combo, the apartment section of this space is definitely more than meets the eye. If you’re interested in working from home, this is the apartment for you!

New vehicles
Three new vehicles have been added to Brookhaven with the Racing Update: a racing truck, derby car, and Formula 1 style race car. Unfortunately however, only one of these cars is accessible by all players—the derby car and F1 race car can only be driven by those who have purchased theVehicle Packgame pass for 799 Robux.
New drift settings
To go along with the new race cars mentioned above, the Racing Update has also introduceddriftingto the experience’s preexisting driving mechanics, allowing more rambunctious Robloxians the opportunity to burn some rubber around the streets of Brookhaven. To adjust your car’s ability to drift, locate and click on the speedometer icon at the top of your screen—you must be seated inside of a vehicle for this icon to appear. From the speedometer’s submenu, locate theDrift Settingssection.
To alter your car’s drift ability, click the plus or minus buttons—doing so will raise or lower the number in the middle. The closer that this number is to zero, the more your car will drift when you turn corners.
