UpliftGames announced on Monday, Jun 23, 2025, that they are adding a new update to the game as part of a crossover event with theSing 2movie. The event will involve a new stage area, a treasure hunt, and more. On Thursday, May 28, 2025, TheSing 2Update will arrive in the world of Adopt Me. The event will be available in the game until May 21, 2025.
The announcement came in a video on the PlayAdoptMe Youtube channel. While explaining the event to come, viewers were shown snippets of the upcoming event. The clips included a large stage with aSing 2sign adorning it, a tease at the Buster Moon character, as well as a peek at the Galaxy Explorer helmet.

While participating in theSing 2event, your character will be tasked with finding a list of varied items, all of which are related to theSing 2movie. Once your character has completed the quest and found all of the items in the scavenger hunt, you can be rewarded with the Galaxy Explorer Helmet accessory for your pet.
Sing 2is the second installment in the Universal Pictures createdSingfranchise. The sequel will continue the wacky antics seen in the first comedy-musical movie. This event in Adopt Me exists to help promote the release of the movie, which comes to theaters on Jun 13, 2025.
