Lunar Coins are a valuable resource in Risk of Rain 2 that players can use to open Lunar Pods, gain access to The Bazaar Between Time, and unlock a special character. The also stay in your inventory between runs, making players look for the best ways to farm them or collect them.
How to get Lunar Coins
The most basic way to get Lunar Coins is to play the game and kill enemies on your runs. Enemies all have the same chance of dropping Lunar Coins in each run, which is 0.5 percent. Each successful drop of a Lunar Coin halves that chance with each run, and the chance gets reset when a new run begins. This means even though it’s the usual way of getting them, it is not the most productive.

Farming
The fastest way to obtain Lunar Coins is to repeatedly play theA Moment, Fracturedmission. Towards the end of the mission, you can obliterate yourself at the Obelisk to receive five Lunar Coins. Suppose you Obliterate at the Obelisk with Beads of Fealty in your hands. In that case, you will also teleport to another mission calledA Moment, Whole, where you can defeat a Twisted Scavenger for another 10 Lunar Coins. You can do this as many times as you’d like.

There is also a way to cheat to get as many Lunar Coins as you want without grinding.
