Hello Games has announced that their space adventure title,No Man’s Sky, will come to Nintendo Switch this summer.

No Man’s Sky is a space exploration game in which the player can freely explore an infinite (yes, literally) amount of planets and galaxies, collect and trade resources, base build with friends. While traveling in your spacecraft, you can dogfight against space pirates or just get lost amongst the stars.

No Man’s Sky was originally released in 2016 on PS4 and PC, offering a small sample of what developer Hello Games seemed to promise. Hello Games has tirelessly updated the game since its initial release adding features likeMultiplayer, Base building, and the ability to tame wild creatures.

Planets have received updates making them more diverse and rich for exploration, while space has seen the addition of Space Pirates and freighters. Over the years, the core game experience has also been updated, adding a deeper, richer main story and additional objectives and missions to undertake solo or with friends.

No Man’s Sky also supports cross-playacross Xbox, Playstation, and PC. It hasn’t been confirmed if this will also extend to the Nintendo Switch as yet.

Nintendo and Hello Games made the announcement at the February 9th Nintendo Direct event. These showcases show off new game announcements, updates on existing titles, and other surprises.
