MLB: The Show 22 will be a day one release on Xbox Game Pass. MLB: The Show will be available for both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on Game Pass on April 5.

The title will also be available on PlayStation consoles, and for the first time, Nintendo Switch. However, despite being developed by a PlayStation developer, it will be free for Xbox Game Pass owners when it releases.

MLB: The Show 22 will also feature cross-progression and cross-save so players will be able to keep their progress across console generations. It also features crossplay, so there will be plenty of players to play online with when it hits Xbox Game Pass.

Last year’s The Show title has been available on Game Pass since release but will most likely be replaced shortly after The Show 22 comes out. Although gameplay features have not been revealed, last year’s title did have next-gen exclusive modes like Create-a-Stadium, so it is expected that the next-gen versions will expand on those. Both versions will have a Diamond Dynasty and Road to The Show mode, so players can collect cards, play with their dream team and create their own players as well.
