Survival Sense is a way of highlighting things around the player that are useful for them. Lootable items, interactables, enemies, hiding places, and collectibles are all highlighted when using Survivor Sense and some may not show up without it. This is especially useful when using stealth or when trying to find elusive items of different rarities.

Determining Rarity
When using Survivor Sense, enemies are highlighted in red and everything else will show up in different colors. The rarity system is as follows:
When searching through areas with locked doors, the rarity system still applies but doesn’t guarantee that the item inside will be of that matching rarity.
