The poster will direct you to a musician on Professor’s Rd, north of Adler St.
When you arrive, you’ll find the musician in question right outside his apartment. Interact with him to enter the home and begin your investigation. Once inside, turn around to examine the broken lock in Concentration Mode before moving to the main area. Look by the window to find aglass casethat’s been smashed.
Scan the case to find a bloodstain, violin bow, broken bottle, lock, andwhite fabric.After you’ve finished with the glass case, enter your casebook to begin achemical analysison the white fabric (solution below).

Pin the clue Bloody Trailand exit the apartment. Enter Concentration Mode and you’ll see a trail leading to your right—follow it until it ends around astreet vendor, where you’ll find more broken bottles and blood. Speak to the vendor and he’ll reveal that the same men you seek havestolen his donkey.

Now pin the clue Stolen Donkeyand speak to anyone friendly nearby—they’ll point you to a set ofnearby arches,where you can pick up the donkey’s trail inConcentration Mode.
Follow the trail until you reach thestolen donkeyat a tavern. Head up the stairs to the right of the donkey and you’ll see two men toeavesdropon—interact with the ear icon above their heads and choose tokeepthe following phrases:
Now follow the sounds of destruction through the door and into the outdoor tavern, where you’ll have to fightthree waves of enemies. There are a ton of shootable objects in the environment—use them to your advantage and dispatch the sailors as you see fit. After the fight, you may find theviolin on a stoolin the center of the area.
Grab the violin and head out of the tavern. you may win aJon Challengeif you pin the clue Saving Sean and head back to the street vendor to give him the location of his stolen donkey. Find him on the corner ofAdler St and Professor’s Rd.
Now headback to the musicianand return the violin. He’ll begin to play a song that invokes a memory from Sherlock’s youth. Interact with themusic standbehind you in Concentration Mode to begin a cutscene—you’ll finish the case when it completes.
