To begin,pin the clue Missing: Angelo Dondoloand head to easternCeto Stin Old City. You’ll find a lockedbookstorethere.
Just outside the front door, you’ll find a couple of clues. After examining everything,pin the Letter from a Cobblerand turn around to find a spot to scan with Concentration Mode below you. Stay in concentration and a trail will appear, leading away from the bookstore.
Follow the trail until you come to a yard, where you’ll find some more clues that indicate a struggle. After investigating these clues,pin the Tracking Angelo Dondoloand disguise yourself as aworkerbefore speaking to one of the nearby witnesses. They’ll point you down the nearby stairs that lead toCastle Rd.
From here,pin the clue Testimony of a Neighborand you’ll find two spots to scan with Concentration Mode near some cart tracks. Now pin the clueTracking Angelo Dondolowhile in Concentration Mode to reveal a new trail.
Follow the trail until it ends at anold cartin front of a blue door. Examine the bloody rags and hat in the cart, then enter the blue door. At this point, you will enter combat with afew waves of enemies, dispatch them as you see fit. Examine the table in the center of the room, and the tables along the walls to find all of the clues andkeys for the cells.
Now, look fortwo adjacent cellsin one of the corners of the room. Enter the cell on the right to find the body of Angelo Dondolo. Examine him and the surrounding clues.
Enterthe other cell,where you’ll find abloody mattress—examine the mattress to reveal a spot to investigate on the floor. Interact with it, examine the clues to find theelusive bookyou’ve been searching for, and unlock theachievement Read it and Weep.To complete this case:
You will have some dialogue options here that won’t affect the greater outcome of the game but could lead to some heartbreaking results for the conclusion of this case. Those choices are entirely up to you, but once you’ve exhausted these dialogue options, this case will be complete.
