There is always that one mission in a Grand Theft Auto game that catches you off guard and is just a bit trickier than the rest. Back in the day, if you failed that pesky mission, you had to go back to the start and even drive to the mission from the hospital! But not now!
In the definitive edition of Vice City, when you fail a mission, it presents you with a convenient screen after theWastedtext. Simply press eitherConfirmto retry the mission from the mission start orCancelto go on your way to do something else.

You will know that this is a game-changer for those who played the original game when it was first released! Trekking back to the mission waypoint after every failed attempt was inconvenient and quite frankly annoying if it took many tries! It is great that Rockstar has implemented this to spruce up the old game!
Although some things have changed in the re-master, all of the core mechanics stay the same, and it is truly like playing an improved version of a classic without the outdated controls. We are happy with it!
