Once given tactical items, they become a staple of any playthrough of Expeditions: Rome. As its name suggests, players can kill multiple enemies in just one or two turns when they use it tactfully. Still, tactical items are limited in quantity until players learn how to restock them.
You can restock these items by upgrading theSpeculator Tentfor1 Tanneryand1 Lumber Mill. After acquiring Speculator Tents, players can assign Praetorians to restock the tactical items.

The number of supplies replenished depends on the level of the tent, with theImperator Tentreplenishing supplies the fastest. The player will have to deal with not having certain supplies until they can take over a Lumber Mill and Tannery.
Therefore, we recommend using them sparingly at the beginning of the game and, after becoming Legatus, take both a Lumber Mill and Tannery.
It’s always best to assign a Praetorian here that’s not very useful anyway, so players don’t need to worry about the spot becoming empty when the Praetorian is injured. If this Praetorian is injured, players will need to reassign others here, as it is crucial never to forget to assign someone to this position.
