Genshin Impact is filled to the brim with lore, yet we still don’t know what’s truly going on in the world of Teyvat. Everything from the Fatui’s true goal to where the archons stand morally is a bit of a mystery. The free Genshin Impact manga holds a huge piece of Teyvat’s puzzle though and does help to set up Sumeru.
The Genshin Impact manga takes place before the game begins. It’s aprequelthat goes over several different key events. Right now, there doesn’t seem to be any chance of these events being made into a cutscene, so the only way to learn about them is by reading.
