Battlefield 2042 is scheduled for a Nov. 12 launch for those with early access. Since the release date is closing in, EA and the developers have shared the pre-load date and time for the game. Pre-load availability varies for different platforms.

The early pre-load timing for Xbox consoles is most likely due to the partnership between EA and Microsoft. Furthermore, the extended pre-load date for PC is to ensure that there are minimum leaks before the release. Data miners can easily access game files on PC and extract information which then spreads in the community like wildfire.
Pre-loads are only available to players who pre-order Battlefield 2042. There are also some exclusiverewards and bonusesfor those who pre-order the game. BF 2042 also features three differenteditionsof the game that you may select from.
