Sometimes it’s hard to say goodbye, and sometimes it’sextremely easy. Many long-term players in World of Warcraft Classic will find themselves joining guilds in order to tackle the highest-level quests, enemies, raids, and raid-bosses. It’s understandable that some players may want to leave a longtime guild for a fresh group, or perhaps you’ve joined a guild that instantly annoys you and simply need to leave for better options.

The process for leaving a guild in WoW Classic is quite easy. Simply bring up yourguild chatand type/gquit. Entering this command will release you from the guild to which you belonged and it will allow you to search for another group, or remain a lone wolf for the time being.
Be careful, though, if you’re quitting a guild in order tostart your own.It costs 10 silver and requires you to get10 signaturesfrom other players on an in-game guild charter.
