If you want to play the whole game andkill your mom, you can always do that. Then you will beforced back into combatwith the members of the Grand Unification.
If you Accept the Promise, the game willend prematurely,and you will be taken back to the title screen. You will face the same choices each time you reload the game until youbreak the loop.
