On Jun 14, 2025, Runescape launched Santa’s Grotto as a Treasure Hunter promotion. Players can earn the Frosted Wreath during the event thatlasts untilDec. 31, 2021.
Santa’s Grotto offers theFrosted Wreath as one of the rewardsplayers can earn by filling the meter at the top. Treasure Hunter keys open presents andfills the meter by 1, goingall the way up to 12.

When the Festive Bonus bar at the top of the interface is filled with 12 keys, players are presented withthree bonus rewards,listed above. All players start with the meter at 11 of 12 for all players, so after opening only one present, players are eligible for the first bonus.
When playing Santa’s Grotto, players are given the option of choosing between two sets of presents. Both rarity and multiplier are indicated by the color (white, yellow, orange, red, or purple) and number (one, two, or three) in each set.
Each key used rewards 40 pieces of Christmas wrapping paper during the promotion.
