Arknights is a resource management armageddon, where players must figure out optimum ways to allot Sanity against an array of materials for Operator growth. And with a maximum of 12 Operators deployable per run, there’s a lot to promote and skill up.
One of the most common items you’ll find yourself needing a lot of is the Dualchip, which is required for promoting five and six-star Operators to Elite 2.
Factory Production
Unlike the ordinary Chips required for Elite 1 promotions, Dualchips aren’t farmable through PR stages. Instead, they can only be obtained by producing them in the Factory. Only aLevel 3 Factorycan unlock Dualchip production.
Start by heading over to the Base, clicking on your Level 3 Factory, and clicking on the bottom left section, which will open up the Facilities management window. UnderProduct, selectChips, which will bring you to the Dualchip production section.
Simply choose the Dualchip you need based on theClassof the Operator you intend to promote. Before beginning production, make sure toinput the number of Dualchipsyou want to produce.

You canaccelerate production using Drones. One Drone will speed things up by three minutes. Access this feature by clicking on thefast forward iconabove the Collect button.
Where to Obtain Materials
You need x2 Chip Pack and x1 Chip Catalyst to produce x1 Dualchip. Obtain these materials through the following.
Chip Pack
Each stage costsx36 Sanityand dropsone of the two Class Chip Packs. If you’re having trouble farming for the ones you need, you can convert paired Chip Packs through the Workshop.
It costsx3 Chip Pack and x1 Morale for x2 of the paired Class Chip Pack. Consider using an Operator that can increase the production rate of byproducts for Chips or any material to increase your chances of obtaining extra Chip Packs.
Chip Catalyst
you’re able to purchase Chip Catalysts from the Shop Vouchers section of the Store forx90 Shop Voucher each.
