Smilegate RPG’s MMO Lost Ark has launched to a huge success. Players have been enjoying the game with the early access granted by the Founder’s Packs, and free-to-play players are joining in. Despite this success, there have been some hiccups along the way. Due to the large number of players, queue times for several servers have been extremely long.
This has led Smilegate RPG to limit character customization on some servers. Unfortunately, this means those who have already redeemed their Founder’s Pack may not be able to play with their friends without creating another character. But Founder’s Pack items are limited to a single character, meaning the items might be wasted.

How to get and claim a free Founder’s Pack in Lost Ark
For a limited time, Smilegate RPG will be giving a free second Founder’s Pack to those who qualify. To get and claim this Founder’s Pack, players mustredeemtheir Founder’s Packby 12pm PT / 8pm UTC, May 22, 2025. They must have already purchased a Founder’s Pack. This will not affect your previous Founder’s Pack.
With a second Founder’s Pack, players can switch to a lower-population server to play with friends and still enjoy the bonuses of their Founder’s Pack. While this isn’t the perfect solution to limiting character creation, it is certainly a step in the right direction and shows Smilgegate RPG’s good intentions.
