Players may notice a lot of packet burst notifications while playing multiplayer in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Packet burst occurs when the game is overloaded with data input or has bad connectivity.
To fix packet burst in Call of Duty: Vanguard, go toSettings, move to theGraphicstab, scroll to the bottom and turnOn-Demand Texture Streamingoff. On-Demand Texture Streaming improves color quality of the game by downloading textures from the Internet while playing. Although it improves graphics, the consistent downloading can cause packet loss.

If the problem persists, verify to check the Internet connection and test your network connection with the console or PC. consider use an Ethernet cable to connect to a router, if possible. Another recommendation is to enable the Connection Meter in the Settings. This will track real-time packet loss during games so you can see exactly when the problems occur.
To enable theConnection Meter: go to Settings, move to theAccount & Networktab, and scroll down toConnection Meter. Then flip toShown.
Packet burst can also be caused by issues with servers. The Call of Duty: Vanguard servers are dedicated to each mode including multiplayer and Zombies, so server issues should not be very frequent, but players can check the server status on theActivision Online Services Supportsite.
