To fix the Death Loop bug in Dying Light 2, you will need to try to join someone’s game. Doing so is a possible fix for the error and will allow you to progress in the game again.
If you are currently in a Death Loop, start by opening theOnline menu. You can open the online menu by hittingESCon PC and theMenubuttonfor consoles. Once at thePause menuin Dying Light 2, click online options (as shown below):
Afterward, find either theQuick joinoption or theFind gameoption if a friend is also playing the game. Both options will work, and when you manage to join a game, try leaving and going back to your game.

Leaving after joining an online game has reportedly fixed the Death Loop for some players. Others said that they needed tocomplete thequestthey were on before they could fix the Death Loop.
Because of this, we recommend trying both and seeing what works for you. Hopefully, one of these methods will squash the Death Loop and allow you to continue your game.
