Bullet spread, also known asweapon bloom, has been a major issue in Battlefield 2042. It is a shooting mechanic that deviates the course of the bullet from the intended path. Although bloom is meant to add realism, it creates inconsistent gunplay and isn’t much appreciated in the community.
Since the mechanic is here to stay, you may counter it in certain ways. This guide covers how you can control bullet spread or bloom in Battlefield 2042:

Generally, bullet spread is more pronounced in Assault Rifles. It is also present in other weapon classes such as Submachine Guns. Furthermore, Sniper Rifles and DMRs lose accuracy when you shoot while moving. While playing Battlefield, make sure to take your Sniper shot when still.
According to Shroud, ADS bloom essentially rewards players with bad aim and punishes those who are accurate. Some may argue that creating a balance amongst players is good, but this shouldn’t come at the cost of degrading the gunplay.
