Climbing down from ledges and pipes isn’t in the Key Bindings in the Options Menu of Dying Light 2, but there is a button for it. By pressing the Crouch Button, Aiden will let go of ledges or slide down pipes he is on. This can be dangerous, however, and should be met with caution as fall damage can kill you easily in Dying Light 2. Of course, there are two Skills in the game that can alleviate this problem.

Landing Safely
On the left side of theParkourTree, bothActive LandingandSafe Landingwill prevent Aiden from taking as much damage from falls. This works even when dropping down by choice with by crouching.Active Landingcan be activated by pressing the Crouch Button just before landing to do a roll, reducing falling damage while maintaining momentum.Safe Landingincreases the height Aiden can fall from before taking fall damage.
