Pets are amazing creatures in Lost Ark. Not only do they automatically pick up all items on the field, so you don’t have to. They also come with Pet Effects that can give you certain buffs when they are summoned.
These pet effects are randomly given upon purchasing from the in-game store or from an Adventure quest calledLearning about Pets. You can change the effects of your pet for free. We tested this with the Founder’s Pack pet and a pet purchased through the in-game store.
To change the effects, you need togo to a Pet Management NPC. There is one in Prideholme, Luterra Castle, and Vern Castle. The first one you’ll encounter will be the one in Prideholme called Working Achatemeow.

Speak to him and then click on the pet you want to have different pet effects. Thenclick on the pet effect you want to change. You’ll notice an extension of the window appears called Changeable Pet Effects—these are various possible pet effects that the player can select.
A new window will appear. Click on one of the effects that you want to equip to your pet, and that one will be the one that replaces your current effect. Click Select and then Confirm. You can change these effects as much as you want.
