In fast-paced games, it can be easy to veer off course or miss a checkpoint, and when that happens, it can sometimes leave you with your head in your hands! The good news is that Riders Republic has a backtrack button! So, you never need to miss a waypoint again.
To use the backtrack function, you will need to press theRight Shoulder Button(RB)on either your PlayStation or Xbox controller. You can then start to rewind through the route you have just taken so you can start again from the place you missed.

Once you have identified where you want to start from, press the corresponding button next toRestart Hereto continue your line again, or you may pressRetry From Startif you want to go all of the way back.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you use this in a race, you will lose your position as most races are live and online, so it is most likely best kept for when you’re on your solo runs or just moseying around the mountains!
This sort of feature has become common in recent years, with Forza Horizon more or less popularizing the concept with theirRewindability. Needless to say, it’s definitely helpful!
