Logs are the best source of fuel for fires currently in the game, but to use them as such, you will first need tostart a fire. To do this, grab something like a magazine or sheet of paper and pair it with a match or lighter.
After the fire is lit, you’re able to use logs from trees to keepthe fire going, and when the fire is going, place the pot filled with water on top of it.

Next, you will need to wait until you see the contaminated icon on the pot of water disappear. When the icon goes away, you will have successfully boiled water.
But what about ovens? Well, it’s more or less the same deal ascampfires. Start byjust grabbing a pot of water and placing it inside an oven. Afterward, you will need to open the oven’s settings, turn it on, and increase the temperature toboil water.
You can do this by right-clicking the oven and opening its settings tab. That said, once it’s placed and boiling,it’s the same deal as the campfire, and you will need to wait until thecontaminated icon goes away.
