The Fleeting Colors in Flight is this year’s Lantern Rite event, which runs fromJan. 25, 2022 to May 23, 2025. Players Adventure Rank 28 and up who have completed the following are eligible to participate:
The Great Gathering is one of the many things you can do to help out with the Lantern Rite preparations.
How to Unlock
Players who have completed the prerequisites will automatically receive the Event Quest calledPetal-Lit Ships Fish For the Moon, which starts at the Jade Chamber. Ningguang informs you that Beidou is fishing up the remnants of the old Jade Chamber and asks you to help.
Head to the Alcor to speak with Beidou and Xinyan. Waverider Waypoints will appear around the Guyun Stone Forest, allowing you to ride the vehicle to find Ningguang’s treasures.

Use the Waverider to destroy the first wave of Treasure Hoarders and interact with the unlocked crates to pick up the lost cargo.
After the first battle in the water, head to land and defeat the group of Treasure Hoarders. You’ll then be asked to search for more cargo in the water, which you can do so by following the highlighted areas in the mini map. There will be one last battle on land before the quest ends with dialogues from Beidou and Ningguang.
The Treasure Hoarders are all easy to defeat except for those marked with a fury icon on top of their heads. They’re very tanky, so make sure to bring ample DPS.
How to Play
After completing the Event Quest, you’ll unlock The Great Gathering mini-games. There are three game modes that are very similar to those in the quest.

Curio Salvage
Curio Salvage requires you to defeat three waves of enemies in three different locations at sea. After clicking Navigate through the event menu, head to the areas marked with a Mora Box icon in the World Map. Defeat the enemies using your Waverider and pick up the crates—each instance will grant you x60 Immaculate Talisman.
Interrogation by Night
Interrogation by Night likewise requires you to defeat three waves of enemies and loot the crates with Ningguang’s items, but on land. Click Navigate from the event menu to reveal circular icons in the World Map, which represent the enemy locations. A new location will appear after finishing one challenge.
Like the Story Quest, the Treasure Hoarder Elites are a lot harder to defeat. You’ll find boxes of firecrackers nearby—interact with them to pick them up, then throw them at the Elites to diffuse their buffs. You can throw firecrackers using these controls:
Each challenge will grant you x120 Immaculate Talisman, x3 Hero’s Wit, and x30,000 Mora.
Midpoint Interception
There are two Midpoint Interception stages in each Phase. These are Waverider challenges where you must destroy the transport balloon within the time limit using Waverider skills and explosive barrels.
You can also defeat Treasure Hoarders along the way to increase the number of points you get. You only need to aim for 1,000 points to get the Primogem reward and 2,000 points to get all the Immaculate Talismans from this game mode.
