Call of Duty: Vanguard is scheduled for a global launch on Nov. 5. Ahead of its launch, the developers have shared information about the game’s storage requirements on various platforms. This article features the estimated file sizes for the installation of Vanguard at launch.

Call of Duty: Vanguard File Size and Required Storage on all platforms

UPDATE:ForPCthe size is49.40GB including Campaign, Zombies, and Multiplayer.

*This is the minimum storage requirement for Multiplayer and Zombies only. For Ultra Graphics, 61 GB space is required. Moreover,Hi-Rez Assets Cacherequire additional empty storage depending on quality.

Furthermore, players can manage storage space by shrinking the game’s overall size. This can be done during or after the pre-load by modifying the content you want to keep.

Apparently, Vanguard’s file size is significantly smaller compared to Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare. This is possible thanks toon-demand texture streaming. We have seen this setting’s application in Warzone, but its impact on Vanguard is quite notable.

Due to new on-demand texture streaming tech, Vanguard’s install size at launch will be significantly below that of previous Call of Duty releases – up to 30 percent - 50 percent+ of a file size difference on next-gen console and PC.
