The actual name for thesecodesisAsset ID, and the way in which they work is much simpler than you may think. Every item uploaded to the Roblox Avatar Shop has one of these unique Asset IDs assigned to them—to find an item’s Asset ID, click on the item that you want, and then look for the number that followshttps://roblox.com/catalog/in the address bar.
For example, the Asset ID forRoboxis4819740796. We know this because Robox’s link is listed as https://www.roblox.com/catalog/4819740796/Robox. So, what do we do with this Asset ID now?
To use this ID and summon the corresponding item in Welcome to Bloxburg, enter the experience, head to your house’s closet or dresser, and pressEto interact with your clothes.
From the options that appear, pressCustomize Characterand then selectDefault Outfit. Now, locate and click thehat and sunglasses iconfrom the outfit customization menu.
Below this icon, you should see a plus sign that readsAdd Custom Accessorieswhen you hover over it—click on it. Upon doing so, a pop-up will appear that asks you to enter the Asset ID of your choosing. Once you’ve either pasted or typed in your Asset ID, pressContinue—the item that matches your Avatar ID will now be available in Bloxburg.
It’s important to be aware that the items you summon through Asset IDs are not free to use in Bloxburg—even items that are free in Roblox’s Avatar Shop need to be purchased with in-game money before they can be worn outside of the closet.
