Best Nature
TheAdamantandNaiveNature utilizes the Machop evolution line’s best stat, their Attack. The Base Attack for Machop is 80, then as a Machoke this increases to 100, and finally reaches 130 as a Machamp.

Decent Natures
If an Attack raising Nature is difficult to find, players can always settle for a Defense raising Nature. The Machop line has decent Special Defense but their Defense is higher until it is fully evolved in Machoke. As a Machoke, their Defense Base Stat is 80 and their Special Defense is 85.
Generally, Defense and Special Defense lowering Natures are bad for Pokémon in general. Slow Pokémon can get away with the loss of Speed so it’s all about finding the right stat to lower, not always the right stat to raise.
