Assetto Corsa’s Drift Mode can be furiously challenging at first. Finding the perfect balance between your choice of car and tuning setup is half the battle—finding a good track to test your drifting mettle is another.
Not every track available in AC’s Drift Mode is conducive to a great run, so we’ve widdled down the list of available tracks in the base AC game that will give you the most fun and opportunity for a high score.

Silverstone (International)
A shortened version of this legendary racing circuit, Silverstone (International) is one of the best tracks for beginners in Drift Mode, but it comes with certain challenges.
While the corners aren’t sharp or tight, Silverstone’s straight sections can trap you into hitting these corners with immense speed. If approached properly, however, these turns are prime for some long drifts and big points.
Highlands (Short)
One of two variations of the Highlands track in Drift Mode, the aptly named Short version, is a very small but satisfying track layout for drifting.
This track is all about your accuracy when entering the corners. Manage your speed on the short straights, and you’ll find that this track has some of the most fun drifting corners without providingtoo muchof a challenge.
Magione
A mid-length run that allows for speed, long arcing drifts, and tight combos. Aside from two straight sections, half of Magione is a winding wonderland that requires precision braking to achieve success. For anyone that’s looking to increase the challenge of their Drift Mode runs, this track will suffice.
Vallelunga
This challenging drift track is good for high scores and combo multipliers but will certainly challenge your skills.
At times, Vallelunga will lull you into a bed of straight-line speed, but don’t get comfortable—the back-end of the track contains ten twisty corners that will test the bounds of your reaction time while requiring a perfect balance of acceleration and precision braking.

Highlands (Drift)
This variation of Highlands expands the previous track for a longer and more challenging run. Drifters will encounter bendy straights that set up a bevy of opportunities for long drifts, short drifts, and combos in between.
This course looks easy from the track layout, but don’t be fooled by the lack of intense corners. Highlands requires a delicate balance of speed and braking, which will allow you to achieve and maintain high speed—executing that task is another thing entirely.
Black Cat County (Short)
One of the longest and toughest Drift Mode runs. This Short variation of Black Cat County will test every facet of your drifting skills with high-speed, long bending turns, tight switchback corners, and sections that require absolute pinpoint accuracy while braking into and accelerating through every turn.
Make no mistake, this variation of BCC requires near perfection for a smooth run, but when you get there, you’ll have a high point total and it’s as satisfying as nailing a perfect battle with a boss from Dark Souls.
Drift
This small track offers big opportunities for high drift scores and combo multipliers, an absolute playground for casual and hardcore players alike.
From the arcing outer loop that begs for you to drop the hammer and attempt long sustained drifts to the tight spaghetti-like roads of the inner track where braking is everything—Driftallows racers to attempt runs where their creativity is the only limit, and their skill is the only border between success and failure.
