Electronic Art’s Q3 2022 Earnings Call was expected to deliver a future roadmap for Battlefield 2042. However, the developers have instead announced a delay in the arrival of Season One. The first massive content drop for the game has beenpushed back to early summer of 2022.

Since the game’s launch, the Battlefield 2042 dev team has earned a bad reputation with communication. They have failed to even acknowledge some of the major issues that have been identified by the community. The game has a long way to go until it reaches a polished and healthy state.
