The video game sensation from the last two years is finally making its way to Sony and Microsoft. Among Us will be coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on December 14. The game will also be a part of the Xbox Game Pass.
This is the first time Among Us will be on a PlayStation and Xbox console. It was originally released only on PC in 2018 with very little fanfare. The game would receive worldwide recognition in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic when several high-profile streamers started playing the game.

For several months, Among Us was the biggest game on the internet. With this sudden surge of interest the game it was eventually ported to the Nintendo Switch in December 2020. APlayStation and Xbox version were hintedat many times, but it would take a full year from when Among Us got into the Switch to when it will be available on the PlayStation and Xbox.
Among Us is a social deduction video game. A group of gamers plays as bean-shaped spacemen, who need to fix their ship or area with a variety of tasks. Unfortunately, there’s an imposter among themselves, who can sabotage the area and slay any innocent crewmates it spots. In order to win the match, the team must sus out the impostor hiding in the group, or complete all of the tasks before the impostor disposes of them all.
