Rome has a number of different types of skills that depend on the type of warrior you choose in the beginning. As opposed to the conventional warrior, rogue, and mage classes, the game follows the warrior types seen in the Roman legion. Below are all of the classes, subclasses, and skills in Expeditions: Rome.
Princeps
This class is similar to a warrior-style class and is the easiest to use. The defense and attack are very strong, making it a preferred class for Praetorians, as well as the player character.

Veles
This is the rogue-type class, but it is not very useful. It’s as weak as a Sagittarius without their power, and its attack is similar to the Princeps without their defense. We do not recommend this class.
Sagittarius
This is the archer-type class, which is very useful. When a Sagitarrius levels up to around five, they’ll take enemies out in a shot or two.

Triarius
This is the medic (or mage-type) class. Only experienced players should pick this class, as it doesn’t help out much in battle. You’re given one by default.
