Season 4 of NBA 2K22 introduced another roster update that shakes up every team’s overall rating a little bit. With this latest roster update, more players got some attention and received ratings boosts or drops based on their NBA season so far. Here are the top ratings changes for season 4.
Giannis Antetokounmpo — 97 (+1)
Although not the biggest jump in Season 4, Giannis received a +1 boost to his overall, making him the highest-rated player in NBA 2K22. Not too surprising, as the reigning NBA Finals Champ and MVP has played very well this season and performed overall on all areas of the court. Following Giannis close behind for the top spot are four of the most dominant players in the league, Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Nicola Jokic. All four of the players are rated 96 and have been playing impressive basketball and may challenge Giannis for the top spot soon.
Demar DeRozen — 90 (+2)
It was just last year that Demar DeRozen was struggling to return to his scoring ways, but a trade to the Bulls has reinvigorated the star forward. Teaming up with Zach Lavine, DeRozen has broken into the MVP candidate ladder before the halfway point in the season. If Demar continues to play at the level he is, he may find himself ranked in the top ten players in NBA 2K22.
Ja Morant — 92 (+2)
Star point guard Ja Morant has improved in every facet of the game this season, improving his points per game, field goal percentage, steals, and has led the Grizzlies to one of the top teams in the West. Ja received a significant boost going into Season 4 and if he can keep playing well and lead his team to the playoffs, he may get another boost going into Season 5.
